Consuming milk and dairy products have many health benefits. Curd consumption is beneficial for us in many ways. Yogurt is rich in calcium, protein, and vitamins, which are important nutrients for our body. All kinds of nourishing quarks are very suitable for our digestion. But cottage cheese is consumed at the right time and only then will it profit.

In Ayurveda, there are some rules for tofu intake that you should consume only in the morning and afternoon, not in the evening. Some people like to have dinner, but that's not true. But during the rainy season, is it okay to eat in the monsoon? Ayurveda recommends not eating quark during monsoon season. When I spoke to an Ayurvedic expert, I mentioned the many side effects of eating cottage cheese in the rain. Medical professionals, on the other hand, have different responses to eating cottage cheese in monsoons. What do Ayurveda and medicine think about tofu consumption in Sawan?

Expert response to not eating curd in the rain

As you know, our food and drinks change according to the seasons. Not everything promotes health in all seasons. According to Ayurveda, food and drink must also be properly maintained to balance the three doshas of the body, Vata, Kapa, and pitta.

Problems caused by eating Curd in Monsoon

  •  throat ache
  •  mucus accumulation
  •  pain in the joints of the body
  •  Sudden onset of chronic pain
  •  digestive problems
  •  Eating cottage cheese in monsoons increases secretions
  •  Eating cottage cheese in the rain causes imbalances
  •  Sawan's moon is a rainy month, which causes an imbalance in body defects. As data increases and pita accumulates during the monsoon season, different stomach problems can occur. According to Ayurveda, physical health depends on these three doshas. When all three Doshas in your body are in balance, you know you are healthy. On the other hand, when these imbalances occur, the disease begins to develop. That's why it's called a 'defect'.

 Curds Can Increase Infection

Ayurveda not only includes cards but also Dahibada, Ayran, Idli, Dhokla, etc. made in the month of Sawan or Badon. The best season to eat cottage cheese is summer. Eating cottage cheese in summer cools your body and protects you from the heat. But in the rain, quarks become an infectious agent for our body.

Curds are harmful when it rains because of the cold.

Yogurt has a cooling effect. This is why Ayurvedic doctors recommend eating fresh, hot foods and avoiding cold foods during the rainy season. During this time, avoid eating pita and anything that increases Vata, as it interferes with overall digestion.
